Fitting bed headboards

Most bed headboards come with the main bed headboard panel, two legs (depending on width) and two screws per leg. Typically the legs are attached with just one screw and folded in allowing for easier transportation and smaller box packaging

  • When opened, the headboard legs will fold down and the second leg fixing screw can be inserted (supplied) to both legs.
  • For a new bed there will probably be some small stickers over the holes for the bed headboard screws (large plastic capped screws about 2 ½ inches 65mm long). Pierce through the sticker to find the hole into which the bed headboard screw attaches. It is easier to use a pointed implement such as a bradawl but be careful not to damage the material round the screw hole too much
