In imperial terms, these figures translate as 6 feet and 7 inches in length and 5 feet and 11 inches in width.

Everyone wants a bit more space when they sleep but it’s important to find a balance between comfort and practicality. After all, extra space in bed invariably means less floor space in your room.

Given the not inconsiderable dimensions of super king size beds, an equally spacious room is required in which to place one. Ideally, when your bed is in place, along with any other furniture and belongings, you should have enough room to circulate and exit your room. Because of the relatively wide dimensions of super king size beds, they are best suited to rooms that are square in shape.
